WELCOME TO THE SOUTH PENN FOOTBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION

The goal of our chapter is to promote, strengthen and enhance the welfare of the game of Football. We want its’ players, coaches, fans, and officials to know the ideals of good sportsmanship, and the spirit of fair play at all levels of competition.

We provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas, techniques, procedures, and education while offering the best possible training for our officials.

We develop among all football officials a thorough understanding of the rules of the game as officially adopted by the National Federation of State High School Association and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Associations.

We abide by a sportsmanship message that requires all registered sports’ officials to enforce the sportsmanship rules for coaches and contestants. Actions meant to demean opposing contestants, teams, spectators and officials are not in the highest ideals of the game of football and will not be tolerated. We ask that all present at our games abide by this message.
