Our Mission
- Promote, strengthen and enhance the welfare of the game of football, players, coaches, fans, and officials.
- Provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas, techniques, procedures, and education while offering the best possible training for our officials
- Establish, maintain and promote the highest ideals of good sportsmanship by encouraging the spirit of fair play in connection with the game of Football
- Develop among all football officials a thorough understanding of the rules of the game as officially adopted by the National Federation of State High School Associations and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association
What We Do
Our chapter officiates games at many different levels from youth leagues to high school varsity and sub-varsity levels, 8-man football leagues, flag football leagues, and semi-professional football leagues. We provide leagues with officials for scrimmages, exhibitions, chain crews, benefit games, all-star games, playoff and championship games throughout the Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia areas. Our chapter works with 4-man, 5-man, 6-man, or 7-man crews. Our chapter also works in cooperation with other football chapters around the area to cover games as needed with multi-chapter crews working games together.
